By -5, do you mean -500 feet/minute? A normal descent rate from traffic
pattern altitude to the last part of the final leg is about -500/feet per minute. However, as you prepare for the landing flare that number dwindles and final touch down is normally made at just a few negative feet per minute. I would think that touching down at -500 feet/minute would destroy just about anything except some military aircraft. That's what I thought. Then FS2002 sucks :-( Can't one make some changes in the config files to make crash tollerance more realistic? Greets, latet |
