The thing is, it'd be nice to keep ourselves in a situation where we can
continue to enjoy the high standard of living we do now - and that will require change of some sort. Agreed. But I, as opposed to many, have faith that the economic system will "provide" us with the solution, as it did when petroleum supplanted whale oil.
