Gary,
I recently bought a 96C, and I had looked into finding a used one. I think you'll find them pretty scarce. A guy at one of the online stores told me they are so new that they just aren't getting any used ones yet. I finally just bought a new one. I think you'll find the price is about the same everywhere...$699. So I tried to find a place with cheap shipping, no sales tax (for my state) and a good return policy. I can tell you that I'm very pleased with this unit for flying, I haven't used it in a car yet. Good Luck. Greg
