One thing that stuck in my head on this one.. the renters insurance only kicks in if you the renter pilot is found to be at fault.. if it's a mechanical.. you may not be covered... My renter's insurance covers me for damages for which I am "legally liable", not just when I'm "at fault" in the sense of committing a pilot error. --Gary
