I live in the mid-atlantic states, and we experienced severe flooding, damage and destruction as a result of the residual rains of hurricane Ivan last year. Communities have not yet fully recovered. However, very few lost their lives despite the fact that the massive flooding up here was in no way anticipated. JKG |
