Chris, I highly recommend you run, don't walk, to the book store and purchase the Illustrated Guide to Aerodynamics by Skip Smith. All of this stuff and a whole lot more is covered in a very easy to read format aimed at the layman. It doesn't dumb things down too much, so you still need to think and maybe even scribble some numbers from time to time.
