Yeah, I was pretty sure it wasn't made from sectionals, but Sectional
Aeronautical Charts come in only one size, 1:500,000. Your dimensions
indicate the mural is made from World Aeronautical Charts, which are
1:1,000,000 scale.



Just wondered if you could purchase it as a mural or
if someone painstakingly put it together ... it's actually glued to the
wall like wallpaper, if you used charts, would seem the backside would
come through.


Sectionals are also available with the backside blank. They come in a
rolled tube, the north and south halves of the common folded sectional are
printed on the same side one above the other. You might consider using a
few of those to make a detailed regional mural along with a JNCA-5 Planning
Chart that shows the 48 contiguous states. The planning chart is
1:3,000,000 scale, about 3 1/2 by 6 feet.
