To the very comprehensive biography of Georges Watkins, it should be added that he owned and ran the Crystal Soaring facility near Pearblossom CA until 1998, when he and his wife Monica moved to Lompoc. At Crystal, and in military fashion, he and Monica made many improvements to the place, which was always impeccably run. In particular there was a trailer converted to a fixed structure where Georges exhibited a trove of memorabilia spanning his career. Charles V.
