Hey, that's an unfair stereotype. Iowa is much more than corn.
There are soybeans too. They must be hidden by the corn. And, on that note, a lesser-known fact of little importance: If you have an engine-out emergency, which field should you choose: Corn or soybean? Answer: Corn. Even if it's 9 feet tall, and the beans are only 9 inches tall, you should still choose the corn. The beans are intensely intertwined, and tightly tangled -- and they will grab at your landing gear and flip you.
