![]() "Lakeview Bill" wrote in message . net... A Cessna 421 went down last night at KPWK (Palwaukee - metro Chicago, IL). Naturally enough, the local news anchors referred to it as a "corporate jet" all morning... Just curious Bill, Which news folks called it that? I watched WLS Ch.7 when I lived there and they were pretty good at getting it right most of the time. A good portion of their anchors are pilots and, at times, would tactfully correct field reporters. Joel and Jerry sometimes showed up at C09 for lunch when I was based there. On "another network" I would usually cringe when their "aviation expert" would get out his model of an airliner and begin to describe the crash of a Cessna single. My condolences to those lost and their families, Marty |
