Default A rough month for BD5J's

Bob never told the media there was a "black box" or flight recorder. He said
the Chelton computer was recovered from the aircraft, and my understanding
is it stores a fair bit of information about a lot of things, quite a few
engine parameters, info from the AHRS, etc. There's no "hardened" place
anywhere on a BD-5 to hide anything. Too small. Radio was monitored and
recorded by the military. No CVR on these aircraft -- most people flying
alone don't talk to themselves. As usual the general media morphs statements
into unrecognizable blobs of crap. Same thing happened when I talked to the
Canadian media following Scott Manning's accident. They were pretty good
about accuracy but they got some of the details wrong, and they made the
mistake of asking a couple of armchair BD-5 "experts" at the airport in
Ottawa for comments.

Not eBay. Try http://www.cheltonflightsystems.com

So, where does it say anything about a flight recorder? If id does some
attitude and systems recording, that would be one step, but it would need
to include a recorder for control positions, and also cockpit and radio
voice recorders.
