Don't forget that you need to be a member to camp at the EAA campgrounds!
Dave Zera Co-Chairman Safety / Flight line AirVenture 2006 "David Melby Cavalier" wrote in message ups.com... wrote: I am planning to see Oshkosh air show this July ....... It is first time for me Thinking to Drive in my RV up there...... Any tips and tricks where to camp ? as close as possible. Any other guidence will be helpfull from those who been there before. Thanks in advance Best place to camp is in the EAA campgrounds, which is right next to the grounds. It is large and you should have no trouble finding a spot to camp. It may be a long walk to the grounds so if you can, take bikes or some means of transportation to get to the gate. They have a place to park bikes right at the gate from the campgrounds. Bring sun screen, camera, and good walking shoes. The place is huge. |
