Anyone install one of the PS Engineering PMA8000B Audio panels? I am
thinking of putting this in my plane and would like to hear any comments on those with experience with the unit or similar units. This one is unique in that the designer had a brain. He put an 1/8 inch cell/audio jack in the front of the panel which allows an MP3, the 396's XM Radio or the 396's terrain warnings to be played right thru the headsets. Also, how much did you pay for the unit and how much for the installation? I have an old Terra 340 and a PS Engineering PM1000 4 place audio panel now that will have to be removed. All the jacks are mono and have to be replaced and rewired for stereo. I was quoted 1,337.00 for installation. The unit was quoted at 1,665.00. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Kobra |
