Grand Prairie is a 45 minute drive for me.
Arlington can be an hour on bad days. Mesquite, easily and hour and a half (plus, you'll get shot on the way), and Lancaster? Over two hours to get to Lancaster. 45 minutes is not bad at all. I drove an hour each way to TEB and CDW when I was flying out of New York. Plus I had to cross the Washington Bridge (though I had the advantage of buying cheap gas in NJ) Do you actually fly out of DFW? In a spam can? How long is it from engine start to takeoff? From touchdown to engine stop? The hobbs meter is running all that time; at the outlying airports I bet taxi time is much less, and the hobbs meter doesn't run while you're driving to the airport. Jose -- There are more ways to skin a cat than there are cats. for Email, make the obvious change in the address. |
