Yes, the Comanche is old, however it does have a Garmin 430, nice autopilot, and 84 gals of fuel. We are looking at a proposal to sell the Arrow and replace it with a 1998 or newer 182 with a Garmin GPS. If we did this, we would need to increase the buy-in from $2,000 to $4,000 and the monthly dues from $85 to $100. The new 182 would rent for $93/hr (tach time) wet, same price as the Arrow goes for right now. Would this make our club more or less attractive to you? Just wondering how prospective members would view this plan. Thanks, Dan Jeff wrote: I was looking at phoenix flyers, that comanche looked pretty old, but I only hear good things about those planes. Excellent rates and good maintenance on 2 Archers, 1 Arrow, and 1 Commanche 260 based at CHD and DVT. www.phoenixflyers.org for more info. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |
