Default Lightspeed 30-3G

Upgraded from the 25XLs.

I've only used them a couple of times (dollars and time need to converge in
a mystical synergy). Not having the old 25XLs it's hard to compare, but my
overall impression is that they are nowhere near as good (ANC) as the 25XLs.
They seem to be much more 'noisy' (tech term) and just don't 'feel' as good
sound wise. I know this is subjective, but I've had a couple of flights
now. Battries are OK, fiddled around with adjustments, but I still think
they aren't as good by a long shot as the 25XLs. (and no I don't want to
swap them back for anyone's old 25XLs, I paid good money for the blue
headband).

For those that did the LS upgrade particularly, what's your 'gut' feeling.
If everyone says the 30-3G are much better then either I've got a dud set or
my qualitative assessment is way off beam.....

Cheers,
Kevin
