You know well that they've been moving the centers for DECADES. Nice to see your name on Avsig. Not the local control, but a lot of the TRACONs which were in the tower radar rooms have been moved. For example, BWI's approach controllers are over 50 miles away in the consolidated Potomac TRACON (which is located in Vint Hill Farm, an old Army property). It provides control from Richmond on up to halfway to Philly.
