The accident was classic pilot error, no fault was found with the FBW system... Since the flight recorders were tampered with, all conclusions concerning that flight are suspect. Furthermore, if the FBW system were truly as reliable as Airbus claims, the aircraft would never have crashed--the computers would have prevented it.
