The Liverpool Daily Post published this 1934 photo of Speke ( Now John
Lennon) Airport showing what they describe as the Avro planes of the Midland & Scottish Air Ferries fleet. The dormer attic window in the farmhouse beyond was built to act as control tower! I can spot a DH Dragon Rapide and is that not a Fokker V111 in the foreground? There are at least 2 other marques in the middle distance? TIA P
