Is there a web site somewhere that lists the ADs for a given plane? Danny Deger Not really. That information is very expensive. You can browse through ADs and see what you can find but a proper AD search requires AD search software. I believe the IA's pay around $2,000/yr for that software. I found the link provided by BDS to be able to find any aircraft without a problem. Can you comment on this link? http://www.airweb.faa.gov/Regulatory...ry/rgAD.nsf/Ma... The link is very useful but not a complete search. A full AD search would ask you for the serial number of the prop, hub, engine, airframe, avionics, etc. However, a good prebuy should include an AD search. When you get a full AD search make sure the IA puts a copy of the results in the log book so you know what ADs may be coming up. I have some on my Mooney that are every 1000 or 500 hours that I otherwise forget. -Robert |
