At Johnson creek, I leave my plane parked on the west side of the ruway, so the sun will hit it as soon as it clears the canyon. Frosty mornings are common there even in July and August. Any word on whether or not Sulphur Creek will be open this year? Last year they got new owners closed the strip to fly-in breakfast traffic.
