![]() "Nick Pedley" If it's a six engined propellor flying boat, then the only one I've heard of is the Blohm and Voss BV222, all of which were destroyed in WW2. http://www.seawings.co.uk/IM-reviewpage-BV-222.htm The Brits built a 10-engined flying boat, Saunders-Roe, the Princes which flew in 1952. Messerschmitt built the six engined ME 323 transport. I vaguely recall seeing a large German bomber capable of crossing the Atlantic, a bomber threat to North America. The Russians also built an Ilyushin 5-engine transport. I'm sure there must be others. Probably not modern types however. |
