Cobra surge brakes on mountain grades.

I can confirm that the cobra surge brake on our trailer was engaged
during a long steep decent. This was on the road from cloudcroft down
to alamagordo. Didn't cause any problem, but the brakes were definitely
hot at the bottom.






As a kid I remember watching the logging trucks coming down the mountain
from Cloudcroft to Alamogordo and being amazed that they had massive
water-cooled brakes.
