HSI Recommendation?
I have been informed that my HSI is precessing fairly rapidly. I'll
check it out in the air soon (plane is in annual). It's a Century NSD-360A non-slaved unit. A refurbished unit will cost about $2700. Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement? The Sandel SN3500 looks nice, but expensive. The airplane is a 1974 Cessna Cardinal RG. I'm about to start IFR flight training so this is fairly important.. When my HSI needed an overhaul last year I put in a Sandel 3500 instead. It is expensive, but it gives you so much information that once you get used to it you won't want to fly an airplane without one. -- Ken Reed M20M, N9124X
