Same thing that they planned to do when there were 15-odd Skyhawks
in-country - pray they missed. It wasn't like it was practical to keep
enough birds on alert to cover the entire country 24-7-365 (it's about
the size of Japan). Of course providing point defense for things like
the APEC conference that was hosted in the 1990's is no longer an
option.

How well protected against such attacks are places like Cork or
Bangkok or Mexico City. Seriously, I'm curious.
