Plating 4130 parts

I'm not trying to be huffy, but clicking on a link is not exactly
my idea of proper research of a critical detail.

Nor is accepting any wisdom posted here without further checking...

First off, ask the plating guys about embrittlement.
If they know what's what, then what's the problem?
And it thy don't, then don't go there!!!
