Default F/A-18 loaded to the gills.....

I called it a KF/A-18 after seeing it earlier. After some research it
appears that the tanker versions are from the CVW's F/A-18E/F squadrons
(because of the higher thrust engine, and the higher gross landing
weight). Just like the A-4 and A-7 squadrons, there are no dedicated
tanker F/A-18's.

Mike

Thanks for the info Mike. I've been realizing the last couple of weeks how
much has changed in the Naval Aviation world since I retired 10 years ago.
Damn, I feel old today.
Rob
