![]() discriminate Counterbalance or reverse racism? Explain the difference. The difference lies in the intent. If the intent is simply to reverse the roles of black and white while maintaining a discriminatory system, that's reverse racism and is wrong. If the intent is to offset the effects of prejudicial practices and establish a level playing field, then it's a justifiable counterbalance. I agree. But sad to say it is not working that way in the FAA or the Federal Government or society for that matter. Politically Correct pressure from the Washington D.C. cesspool is forcing hiring numbers of minority's not qualifications. The playing field is not level. Non-whites and Women are placed into critical FAA positions ONLY because they are non-white and female. Wrong and wrong. If you want to see the true measure of the insidious infection that PC hiring and affirmative action is within the FAA do this one thing. Ask any FAA senior manager if it would be OK to use a numbered job bid system and remove color and sex from the hiring process. I guarantee they will scream racism and "march" on the DOT headquarters. Give it a try. If you want a true level playing field as you put it remove sex and color from the hiring process and go with a numbered bid system. Qualifications and experience ONLY It will never happen because the civil rights empires have seized control of the Government and if ANY person speaks out about it they are buried. So, people cower in fear as the tyrannical hiring practices continue. And our Government continues its slow slide into the cesspool. The emperor has no clothes |
