When I was looking for an alternative to the patches I visited a very helpful doctor on the Isle on Man. He was a sailor too, and was happy to prescribe me something more powerful than the usual over-the- counter stuff. As usual, the drugs came with a patient information leaflet, including details of side effects. "Caution. May induce nausea, dizziness and vomiting." Not, I felt, the greatest confidence builder for an anti seasickness pill. Ian |
