CWO4 Dave Mann wrote in Great airplane to jump out of, too ... Very smooth exit from the ramp or the side doors. Not like the old C141's. Cheers, Dave I don't know about that , I always liked the C-141, especially if you are first in the door.. once the blast shield is extended and the platform is out, its a heck of a place to stand. your soutside the plane looking through the holes in the blast shield or down.. two planes I hated to jump was the C-124 and the C-123 both were a real bitch... Only a/c I jumped was C130, C141, Huey and a static Balloon -- military jumps. My skydiving days were mostly from Beavers or Twin Otters. Some of the stuff the kids at the 82d have today ... wow --- the old T10 is a museum piece. All the Way! Dave |
