Our own, Tony Condon, aka The Cherokee Kid today passed his initial
Part 135 checkride with the FAA flying the Cessna 421. For comparison, the 421 weighs approximately 10 times more than the Cherokee II, lands faster than the Cherokee's redline, and has two 375 hp engines for self launch capability while the Cherokee of course needs a tow. The Cherokee has almost double the best L/D of the 421 though! Good job Tony, MM |
