When I learned in the Aeronca landing meant power to idle abeam, full slip around the turn to final and be on the ground within seconds. That is yank-n-bank and will never pass today. So, that's your definition of a non-stabilised approach? Good grief. I know of at least one examiner who would certainly pass that, especially if it were done in a champ, but that isn't what I was talking about in any case. Bertie. |
