![]() "Bob (not my real pseudonym)" wrote in message ... Concorde didn't get to the Pacific Northwest very often - icing tests at Moses Lake, WA; special charters and a visit to the Expo 86 Abbotsford Air Show - but think I managed to catch every visit. But we have one on permanent display here in Seattle at The Museum of Flight. Bob ^,,^ Hey Bob! Thanks for those images! They are great! I was at Abbotsford for Expo 86 as well. I managed to get some snaps as well but they are on slides. I had the slides scanned but the scans are not to my liking. Did you get a major league sunburn like I did? I was lobster red for a week! OUCH! Still, it was worth it to see Concorde flying around. Sadly, that was the only time I saw the aircraft in flight. I've seen a few of them on the ground at Heathrow (1978). That was it. : ( I hope to get out to Seattle one day and visit the Museum Of Flight and pay a visit to the Concorde on display there. Take care, Nick |
