A White Lightning is receiving a new engine in South Carolina. It is
a 6-cylinder Subaru with gear reduction drive from the engineers at

The newsgroup is still waiting for pictures of your WL.

I just got pictures today. The Lightning is being prepared for Reno
2004. The engine will be turbocharged.

I guess I should be glad that somebody has gotten their stuff from
Crossflow. A friend of mine is building a Glastar, purchased an engine
package from them (paid in advance), and has yet to receive all of his
stuff well over a year (maybe 2) later. His plane would have flown
some time ago but he is missing critical parts.
