ALKO in is Elkhart Indiana. VERY possible to buy here. UH One would think so, but their website does not list any mechanical/ overun brakes. It only shows electric and hydraulic. The UK website does include references to the overrun drum brakes used by Cobra and even includes the complete service manual. It does not seem to list any drum brake axles for sale. Does the Indiana plant produce the overun mechanical drum brake axles and only provide them for export? Perhaps one way to find out would be to contact them with the part number of an axle as installed on a current Cobra trailer and ask where one can be purchased. Andy |
