Hello
I am still using a VP 6 but it seems to have lost it's separate GPS receiver which is a dinosaur anyway. The set seems to still work alright only it does not get any Satelites to play with etc. I was wondering whether any body has tried to drive it with a Volkslogger? The VP 6 supplies its receiver with 12 V I guess, so the VL would have to get its 4.5 volts from somewhere else, one would make a special cable. There is also the question about the GPS protokol? Possibly there is a GPS receiver 12V that one could adapt. I do not want to go to the Euro market. Another way would be to find a VP 8 that someone has lying around collecting dust. That one would hook right in. Anyone? Dieter |
