A few years back, an ATR42 tunisian (I think) crashed in the sea a few
hunded metres north of Sicily, becouse some clever mechanic had changed erroneusly the fuel qty gauge of the 42 with a larger one of a 72, so the pilot was sure to have fuel to reach Tunis, but he run dry half way killing if I'm not wrong 40 people. Both pilot survived. "®i©ardo" ha scritto nel messaggio ... On 27/08/2010 10:19, guyo wrote: ATR42-500 Gosh, I didn't even know that there was an ATR42. Thanks for the correction.
