If you mean the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park, it hasn't been
touched so far.

The Barona tribe's land is just about burned out, I doubt the casino
survived.

We haven't been let back in to see our house yet, but we're told only
a few in our area survived. Ours was pretty fireproof, clay roof,
stucco, double glazed windows, lots of grass and iceplant. No trees
next to the house, all the landscaping is low and very well watered.
Maybe we'll get lucky. But the answering machine voicemail started
picking up on the first ring, so it's not looking good.

As of now, none of the casinos have burned, including Barona. They
lease out a small dirt strip to an ultralight bunch and most of their
hangars burned down with loss of a lot of ultralights. Luckily no one
got trapped out there. It's pretty remote with only one road in and
out. Knowing the guys out there from a few years ago, they'll come
back strong, rebuild and help each other. The fires are still mostly
out of control as the winds are horrendous, around 20-50 m.p.h. I
live closer to the ocean, so we're O.K., but those in east county are
caught in a hell of having had their homes burn down or not knowing if
their's is next. It's just too overwhelming for the fire-fighters who
are doing a hell of a job trying their best to steer the fire around
homes. Today is foggy and mixed with the smoke, it just about grounds
the tankers and water-dropping helis until later in the day.
