Pinout for USB mini-b can be found at...
http://pinouts.ru/Slots/USB_pinout.shtml Note Pin "X" on this pinout, (Pin 4 by normal convention) needs to be connected to 3.3v. This is a "Sense" pin and tells the Oudie that the USB port should act as an old fashioned Serial (RS232) port. (Same is true for the WayteQ PNAs that look very similar to the Oudie) Yes you will need a Max 3232 or similar level converter Good luck with finding a USB cable with all 5 wires connected. Regards Kevin At 15:27 08 June 2012, Peter von Tresckow wrote: Just curious, does anyone know the pinout for the USB connector on the Oudie. I'm assuming that the Rs-232 signal will have to be converted to a TTL signal using a max-232 converter or similar, but I've not found the connector specs anywhere yet. Thanks Peter |
