Hello all. I'm a newbie just getting interested in soaring. Power pilot with 1200 hrs, enjoying a RV4 currently but would like to get an add on soaring rating. I live in central texas and Texas Soaring is not too far away but I have about 10 days off in August and was considering a full time school and doing the rating at one time. Why not go somewhere with wonderful weather in August? Say Vermont... 80 degrees and sunny by day, 60 degrees at night. Extremely pleasant in August. Excellent instruction 7 days a week. Examiner in the neighborhood. Why suffer the heat? http://www.sugarbushsoaring.com in the Mad River Valley http://www.madrivervalley.com/ |
