We've all heard the old saying that "any exposure is good exposure." Not sure it applies here but if handled correctly it might be beneficial. Problem is that anything positive said by the interviewee will be subject to editing by GMA.
They are more interested in the sensationalism. What's really amazing is that an event as outstanding as the World Championships might not be thought of as news worthy here in the states. You know it will be heavily covered by the European press. We need to convince the American media that something like this is worthy of national exposure. Our media volunteers have a big task ahead of them, I'm sure a few of them are up to the task. Walt
