At this site:
http://www.sportaviation.org/ Over 200 mph in a 210 hp taildragger. Woowwwoooo. I looovvvve that crossflow Continental engine. Nice site, by Paul Poberezny. BTW, Stan Shannon's O-235-powered RV-6A is in _Sport Aviation_ this month. On the cover of SA is a Glastar with a streamlined LOM nose. The interesting character who built this airplane had a midlife crisis, quit shoeing horses, got his degree in computers and built this airplane, hanging the supercharged LOM on her for sea-level horsepower in the Colorado Rockies. |
