Which FlywithCE position recorder in the US?
There are two versions of the FlywithCE, 100 and 300. 100 is the original white version which I proudly own. A few guys in our club have 300's, the newer black case with built in USB and battery.
The FlywithCE website says that the 300 is approved in the US as a Position Recorder and the 100 is simply blank, not yes or no.: http://flywithce.com/recorder.html However the approval document on the IGC website is dated June 2010, before the 300 was available. It does not specify FlywithCE 100, just says FlywithCE Position Recorder. Anyone have anything definitive on which (or both?) FlywithCE recorders are approved position recorders in the US?
