Guide to Maintaining A Homebuilt Aircraft

I hope this clarifies some of the confusion that is out there.

For busha's post to clarify the confusion, an aircraft 'manufactured

at the
factory in Poland' and a 'Homebuilt Aircraft' would have to be the

same
thing.

The correct answer is contact your local FSDO and tell them what
you have done and then ask them for guidance and see what you
get. You will find a different answer from each FSDO. As a
messenger only, I encourage you to contact an A&P and stay away
from the FAA and stop posting on public forum what you have done
to your aircraft.
The advice on this thread lacks research and study. It only counts
anyway when you have an accident and insurance will be looking to
figure out who to point the finger at. Untill then go for it guys. So
short sided!
