Looks like a field approval.....need to find a kind open minded FSDO FAA Inspector who knows something about what he looking at and near death so he will no have to worry about it for much longer.


The good news is that it is much easier to get a 337 approved when it is based upon "approved data" such as the Cessna drawing linked above. This should be almost a non issue as a reviewing FAA inspector only has to verify conformance to data and does not have to make any judgments. They HATE to make judgements.
