LXNAV V8 (S8/V80/S80) Issues?

I have used a V9 and then a V8 with my 9000 and have found none of the issues reported by the OP. With similar vario settings to those I had optimised for the V9 I prefer the V8 response to the V9. What about pointer visibility in direct sun? It looks good indoor.
