Why no LX Nav Nano IOS App?

A nexus tablet can be obtained for very little investment and the tablet communicates with the Nano via blue tooth. Another device to carry / charge but seems to work well. The Nano IV flyer says it will be "bluetooth compatible" with iOS and Android. Maybe a new app is being made and maybe it will also be compatible with the older versions of the Nano?
