I recently sent a ship& trailer from California to Georgia using U- Ship. Two good looking young men bid the job for $2000...........that's less than a dollar a mile! Recommend you put your needs up for bid with U- ship. JJ Yep, that was Dieter and funny enough he diverted the delivery to my house at the last minute due to the timing. I set up the exact same thing on Uship for the same $1600 price. It was my suggestion that he try it, and it worked well for him, so now I'm doing the same thing. Pickup is Sunday so we'll see how it works for me. 2545 miles for $1600, I'm not sure after you pay gas, wear on the vehicle and hotel rooms how that works out. $.63/mile. When I flew from CA to GA I looked out the airliner window from 33,000MSL thinking no way am I driving that distance. Chris |
