Military sources in Harare say that Zimbabwe will acquire 12 FC-1s as
replacements for the Chengdu F-7s, currently based in Gweru. The FC-1, a lightweight multipurpose fighter based on Russia's MiG-33, will provide a credible answer to the challenge posed by the 28 JAS-39 Gripen multi-role fighters that the SA government has ordered from Saab, the Swedish arms manufacturer. The rural population is starving, their currency is not worth the paper it's printed on, they can't pay their international bills, Mugabe turns away international food aid saying they have everything under control and don't need charity, and now this! Who's he plan to use them on, Britian?! Can't anyone stop this idiot Mugabe?! South Africa has invaded Angola in the past and only Fidel Castro's Cuban revolutionary brigades could stop the SA advance. All African countries are afraid of SA, remember it has been a mere 10 years since the rule of apartheid was toppled. It could return any time. Some countries like Spain and Britain are actively trying to overthrow african regimes right now. They want to lay their hands on the oil, gold and diamond fields. |
