In '61 the 185 was born. It was the same as the 180 with a 260 HP IO-470 engine. Some structural beef up was included. In '62 the 182 was widened 4 inches. In '63 the 205 was introduced, it was the 210 with fixed gear, although at the time it was called the Super Skylane. In '64 Cessna beefed up the 205 and created the 206. In '65 the 205 was dropped. In '66 the 185 got the 520 for 285 HP as an option, standard in '67. |
